Easter is the day we celebrate Jesus’ coming back to life from the dead. He died on Good Friday, and on the third day – Sunday – he rose alive again. Not only do we rejoice that he defeated death, but we also rejoice that he defeated death for us. Jesus’ resurrection back to life proves that God forgave us through Jesus’ death. And now, just like Jesus rose from the dead, God promises that one day we will too. There is eternal life for everyone who believes.
On Sunday, April 20, we celebrate Jesus’ resurrection at 6:30 a.m. and also at 9:30 a.m. You are invited and welcome to attend either time or both. (The two services are different.) You are also invited to a community Easter breakfast at the church from 7:45 a.m. to 9:00 a.m.
