Good Friday is the day we commemorate Jesus’ death on the cross. It may seem strange to call a day remembering someone’s death good. But Jesus’ death is truly a good thing for us. He said he came to give his life as a ransom. By giving up his life, Jesus freed us from sin’s power to condemn us and from death’s power to capture us. That means we are forgiven, and God’s gift to us is eternal life. All because of Good Friday.
We commemorate Jesus’ death on Friday, April 18, at 7:00 p.m. You are invited and welcome to attend.
