2 Peter 1:1-11

Peter’s second letter is a very important book in instructing Christians. Manifold false teachings and permissive attitudes toward sinful behaviors are land mines that threaten Christians in their faith and their godly living. This letter guides Christians by covering themes such as the eyewitness testimony of the apostles, the origin of the Scriptures, the final judgment, and the new heavens and earth. Peter’s encouragement is: “Grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ!”
