Advent 2 – You dismiss your servant in peace

It’s Advent, and it’s time for praise.

Individual lives were deeply affected by Jesus’ first coming, and they responded with words of praise. They praised God their Savior. Hearing their words, we too are compelled to speak and sing our praises to God.

Today we hear Simeon’s words of praise. “My eyes have seen your salvation. You dismiss your servant in peace.”
