Easter 2 (April 12) We have a living hope

We are strangers on earth.
Christ’s resurrection from the dead and our faith in him make for a strange life on earth. We have an otherworldly inheritance kept in heaven. We have a faith whose value is yet to be revealed. We love a Savior we can’t even see. But we can live with all that. The apostle Peter calls it God’s gift of a living hope.
