Epiphany 5 (Feb. 9) Please don’t treat us as we deserve

“The Lord is the compassionate and gracious God, slow to anger, and abounding in love.”
That was the Lord’s description of himself. David clung to this often in the psalms he wrote. We learn from David to recall these traits of the Lord whenever we are afraid of facing the Lord.
