Lent 2 (March 16) See his strain

Jesus suffers to save. This Lent we spend time in Luke’s account of Jesus’ suffering.
Jesus’ episode of prayer on the Mount of Olives shows how intense his sufferings were for him. Saving us was not easy. It strained Jesus to the core of his humanity.
