The church season of Lent presents us with opposites that affect our entire existence.
Helplessness and hope are opposites. When we take an honest look at ourselves, we realize how helpless we sinners truly are. When we take an in-depth look at Christ and his death, we rediscover God’s love, a love that fills us with hope.
